Yemi Osinbajo is reportedly Buhari’s running mate

Osinbajo was chosen after days of deliberation with reports surfacing that party leader, Bola Tinubu was eyeing the ticket for himself.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reportedly chosen a former Attorney General of Lagos State, Yemi Osinbajo to be the running mate of Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 elections.

Osinbajo was chosen after days of deliberation with reports surfacing that party leader, Bola Tinubu was eyeing the ticket for himself.

The Vice Presidential candidate was the AG during Tinubu’s regime and is currently a pastor at the Olive Tree Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Other APC members who were reportedly being considered for the position are Governors Rotimi Amaechi and Adams Oshiomhole of Rivers and Edo respectively and former Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi.
