Tinubu to choose Buhari’s running mate

Buhari was chosen to represent the party after winning the presidential primaries which held from December 10 to 11.

According to reports, All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari has asked party leader, Bola Tinubu to choose his running mate for the 2015 elections.

A source close to the candidate reportedly said that he gave Tinubu the power to choose because “he was very impressed with the way Tinubu kept to his words to back him to victory by delivering bulk South-west votes to him during the Presidential primary.”

Reports have it that the APC has picked three likely candidates to run alongside Buhari and the final choice is expected to be announced next week.

Some of the individuals being considered by the party are Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, former Attorney-General of Lagos, Yemi Osibajo and former Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi.
