Readers say Agatha should not report her boss's infidelity

36% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters have advised Agatha to keep her mouth shut over her boss's infidelity as it is none of her business.

Agatha, a born again Christian, is not happy working with such a woman who takes delight in cheating on her husband and her religious background is not helping matters.

She is tempted to report her boss to the husband who is her uncle's friend but she does not want to cause a problem in their marriage.

What should she do?

"My name is Agatha, a 27-year-old lady, working as a Personal Assistant in a bottling company in Lagos.

I know part of my job is protect my boss and keep her secrets but I am a born again Christian and I am not happy with what she is doing to her husband and her three children.

I have been working with her for six months and in those months, I have come to realize that she is so loose and does not respect the sanctity of marriage one bit.

My boss is a senior manager in the company and as such, she is entitled to a personal driver, PA and other perks of office.

I got the job through an uncle who is her husband's friend though she does not know that I know her husband who is a very kind and gentle man.

Right from the first day I started working with her, I noticed that she was not a faithful woman as she flirted with many of her senior colleagues and whenever we went out, she would be calling different men and said things not worthy of a married woman.

I also noticed that whenever we went out together, she would leave me in the car with the driver and go off with one man or the other for long hours and when she came back, she would give us some money, probably to keep our mouths shut.

One day, when we traveled to Ibadan for a conference, she called a younger man to meet her at a hotel in the town and for the three days we spent there, she and the man slept in the same room and she fussed about him so much, even in my presence.

When we got back to Lagos, she told me point blank that whatever I see, I should keep my mouth shut for my own good or she would not only sack me, but make life difficult for me anywhere I go.

The woman is so adulterous that she even sleeps with men in her office and expects me to keep quiet. The driver too has confirmed that she has always been like that and warned me never to say a thing.

But my conscience has not allowed me to rest. Keeping quiet about her infidelity is putting a dent on my Christian life. I am between the devil and a hard rock because as much as I do not want to cause problems in her marriage, I also feel so bad that a married woman should be doing that to her husband.

Agatha."
