Aproko Doctor and Real Warri Pikin lend voice to Devon King’s #LessIsMore campaign
Popular Nigerian Health Expert, Nonso Bobby Egemba, also known as Aproko Doctor, and comedienne, dancer and on-air personality, Real Warri Pikin have lent their voices to the ongoing Devon King’s #LessIsMore campaign, a campaign created to sensitize food consumers on the dangers of using unbranded oil and the benefits inherent in a Devon King’s pack.
In the Twitter thread, Aproko Doctor addressed how many people spend more to treat diseases gotten from using cheap unbranded oils. He said unbranded oils may raise bad cholesterol and lower good cholesterol, increasing the risk of high blood pressure, heart attack & stroke. He recommended branded oil like Devon King’s which is affordable, Cholesterol free, Vitamin A fortified, approved by NAFDAC and which gives more value for money.
Warri Pikin also cautioned on the consumption of unbranded oil raising concerns about how the consumers are in the dark about the source and the production process it has passed through before getting to the market. She advised food consumers to use Devon King’s oil describing it as an affordable option that delivers on taste, health and overall, it is Value for money.
As part of the campaign activities, the Brand also took to the streets of Lagos to sensitize the public on the health risks of using unbranded oil and the benefits of Devon King’s oil. The Brand also made use of the platform to interact with consumers in a fun, rewarding and most importantly healthy manner.
