Chinese President offers Nigeria $15m to boost agriculture

The Chinese also expressed their interest to invest in other sectors of Nigeria’s economy including refineries, power plants, mining companies, textile manufacturing etc.

 

This is coming as Buhari inaugurated a technical committee that will finalise the joint projects between Nigeria and China in the rail, power, manufacturing, agricultural and solid mineral sectors.

President Jinping also showed solidarity for the Buhari led administration’s plan to take Nigeria’s concentration away from crude oil.

The Chinese President promised to support Nigeria to achieve its aim of being one of the top industrialised nations of the world.

The minister of foreign affairs Geoffrey Onyeama also revealed that China has offered Nigeria a $6bloan to fund projects on infrastructural development.
