Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia

UPDATE: An earlier version of this article wrongly cited a photo of Her Lordship, Honourable Justice Folasade Ogunbanjo as Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia. We apologize for this error and what it might have caused Justice Ogunbanjo.

According to a report by The Cable, the Justice of the federal high court, Lagos, reportedly refused to honour an invitation of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.

This is coming following the National Judicial Commission (NJC) decision to place Ofili-Ajumogbobia on its “watch-list,” owing to gross misconduct.

However, Justice Musa Haruna Kurya of the federal high court, who also got an invitation, reported at the anti-graft agency's Lagos office to honour the invitation and answer questions by the officials.

Kurya, was reportedly accompanied by his lawyer to the EFCC's Lagos office where operatives of the commission took him on.

Before now, two federal high court judges, Mohammed Nasir Yunusa and Nganjiwa Hyledzira, have also been invited by the commission and they reported to the Lagos office, where they were quizzed.
