Vice President attends World Economic Forum in Switzerland

The statement further noted that this is the first participation of the Buhari administration in the Davos forum.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo left the country on Thursday to represent Nigeria at the 2016 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Vice President, Mr Laolu Akande, said that Osinbajo would participate in a number of panels at the annual global event.

According to the statement, the panels will be highlight the prospects of the Nigerian economy under President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that Osinbajo would also hold meetings with other leaders.

Osinbajo is expected to return home on Saturday.
