DSS officer allegedly murders 24 year old

The Plateau State police commissioner, Mr. Adekunle Oladunjoye, also confirmed that the student was killed by a DSS officer on ‘assignment.’

Punch reports that the deceased, Paul Hezekiah, was a final year student of computer engineering of the University of Jos.

According to reports, he resumed for his first day at work with a phone shop, as part of his three month Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme, that fateful day.

Hezekiah was allegedly shot at close range by the DSS official, during a raid on a market known as GSM Plaza, where mobile phones are sold.

It is not clear if the deceased tried to resist arrest, or attempted to harm the officer.

Reports say the DSS official put Hezekiah’s corpse in a van and drove away.

The Plateau State police commissioner, Mr. Adekunle Oladunjoye, alsoconfirmed that the student was killed by a DSS officer on ‘assignment.’

The DSS have been lashed severally, for disobeying court orders, in the case of Sambo Dasuki, and most recently, in Ekiti state, where its men stormed the hallowed chambers of the state House of Assembly, and allegedly arrested a lawmaker.
