Two die in auto crash

The statement said the accident occurred when two vehicles moving in opposite directions had a head-on collision at Nabordo village.

Two persons died while three others sustained injuries in an auto crash on Bauchi - Jos Road in Bauchi State on Saturday.

DSP Haruna Mohammed, Police Public Relations Officer, made this known in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Bauchi on Sunday.

‎It named the vehicles involved as Toyota Counter with Reg. No. FS 276 LND, driven by Mamuda Lawal, 45, of Nabordo town and a Red Sharon Toyota vehicle with Reg. No. XA 913 MAG. ‎

‎The statement said the two drivers died at the scene while those injured had been taken to Toro General Hospital for treatment.

Those injured included PTE Amaele Chibuike, Special Force Batallion, Markurdi, Abdullsalam Ibrahim, 50, Ilorin West Council of Kwara State and Mercy Gabriel, corps member and her two children.
