The Federal High Court in Abuja has remanded a cousin to former President, Goodluck Jonathan, Azibaola Robert at the Kuje Prison.

Robert will remain in the prison till Wednesday, June 8, 2016, when his bail application will be heard.

Jonathan’s cousin has been accused of committing contract fraud to the tune of $40 million.

The suspect was arraigned today, June 7, along with his wife, Stella but she had earlier been granted administrative bail.

Robert has maintained his innocence in the case while accusing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of harassing him in a bid to get to Jonathan.
