EFCC's lawyer misses Dokpesi's hearing to attend ex-NSA's trial

Jacob ensured he was present at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, where he succeeded in making the court dismiss Dasuki's pleas and attempt to stop his trial.

Rotimi Jacobs (SAN)

According to investigations, Jacobs had to miss the Dokpesi's hearing in Abuja to enable him tackle the advocates of ex-NSA, Sambo Dasuki who were praying the court to stop his trial.

Jacob had prayed the court to dismiss the appeal for lacking in merit because the appellant had misdirected the appeal by listing EFCC as the only respondent to the matter.

The EFCC had arrested and charged the ex-Chairman of Daar Communications to court over his involvement in the multi billion dollars arms deal where he admitted getting N2.1billion from the loot.
