This is coming on the heels of a complaint filed by Dasuki’s counsel, Adeola Adedipe, stating that the DSS has refused to let him see his client despite a court order that was issued on April 6, 2016.

Dasuki has been granted bail severally by different courts, but has still been held in the custody of the DSS since December 2015.

He is standing trial for allegedly diverting $15b meant for the purchase of arms for the military to prosecute the war against Boko Haram.

Justice Baba Yusuf ordered the DSS to let Dasuki’s lawyer meet with him at a neutral place, so he can prepare for his defence.
