Senate approves President’s request to amend 2016 budget
President Buhari had requested permission from the Senate to re-assign N180.8 billion to critical recurrent and capital items.

The upper legislative chamber approved the request on Tuesday, November 29, after receiving a report from the Appropriations Committee, which is led by Danjuma Goje.
