President set for FEC meeting today, Wednesday

Buhari, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, met with the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami.

According to Daily Trust, the President’s schedule shows that he will be at the meeting which will hold around 11:00 am.

Buhari, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, met with the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami and the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Maikanti Baru.

There have been speculations surrounding the health status and fitness of the President, following his absence from the last FEC meeting.

A source from the presidency who spoke to Daily Trust said “all is now set for Mr President to preside over tomorrow’s (today’s meeting of the Federal Executive Council. I can confirm to you very strongly that Mr President will be at the Council Chambers for FEC meeting tomorrow (today).”

Meanwhile, the former new media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has called on President Buhari to make his health a priority and not power.
