President Muhammadu Buhari has faulted the handling of the Chibok girls’ abduction by the administration of former President, Goodluck Jonathan.

Buhari stated on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, that the conflicting reports that emerged from the government and the security chiefs in the days after the kidnapping portrayed Jonathan’s government in bad light locally and internationally, Punch reports.

The President made the comments during a meeting with members of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign group.

“We cannot rationalise the government’s incompetence in handling this issue,” Buhari said.
