Bomb blast in Sabon Gari Market kills 3

Five other persons were also injured in the incident, which occurred at about 11am.

 

Two suspected female suicide bombers detonated explosives at Sabon Gari Market in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno, killing three persons.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Aderemi Opadokun, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri.

Opadokun said that five other persons were also injured in the incident, which occurred at about 11am.

He said that the explosives were strapped to their bodies.
