Hungary promises to help Nigeria defeat terrorists

The assurance was given by the Vice Prime Minister of Hungary, Mr. Zsolt Semjen during a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, October 23, 2015.

The Hungarian Government has promised to assist Nigeria in its quest to defeat terrorist sect, Boko Haram.

The assurance was given by the Vice Prime Minister of Hungary, Mr. Zsolt Semjen during a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, October 23, 2015.

Semjen’s comments were contained in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, after the meeting.

“The extremism of Boko Haram is not Islamic. It runs contrary to all human philosophies,” the Vice Prime Minister said, according to the statement.

Semjen also said that Hungary would assist Nigeria in the area of agriculture and also looked forward to increasing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
