Governor turns 53 today, June 14

Ambode was born in Epe Lagos on June 14, 1963 as one of the ten children of Festus Akinwale Ambode and Christianah Oluleye Ambode.

Ambode was born in Epe Lagos on June 14, 1963 as one of the ten children of Festus Akinwale Ambode and Christianah Oluleye Ambode.

He was sworn in as the governor of Lagos on May 29, 2015, as successor to Babatunde Raji Fashola.

Ambode has dedicated his birthday to the fight against cancer and urged well-wishers to donate funds towards the cause rather than purchase gifts or pay for adverts.
