Watch Artwatch Africa’s 'Droit de vivre' video

12 West African artists have joined their voices to denounce extremism in the region.

A new video for 'Droit de vivre' by Artwatch Africa has been released.

In July 2015, 12 West African musicians came together to denounce all forms of extremism from Nigeria to Mali. These talented artists include Ade Bantu (Nigeria), Alif Naaba, Sissoko, and Smockey (Burkina Faso), Didier Awadi (Senegal), Josey Priscille, Soum Bill and Maréchal Zongo (Côte d’Ivoire), Master Soum (Mali), Monza (Mauritania), Phéno Bi (Niger) and Zeynab Abib (Benin).

Artwatch Africa whose objective is to promote artists' creative and artistic rights and freedoms hopes to assist artists in better exercising these rights and to draw public attention on their role and situation.
