Afrobeat star working on new music in France

Now according to photos posted by Chocolate City President, Audu Maikori, the Femi is working on a “classified project in some secret underground lair somewhere in France!”.

Award-winning Afrobeat maestro, Femi Kuti is working on a new music project in France.

The son of Afrobeat Legend, Fela Kuti was signed to Chocolate City a few weeks ago, and has released a single ‘Politics na big business’ with 2face Idibai and Sound Sultan.

Audu Maikori divulged this information on Instagram when he posted photos of Femi Kuti in a studio, smiling with an unidentified producer.

The photo was captioned: “@femiakuti is working on classified project in some secret underground lair somewhere in France! can’t say more than that now…like I said its classified ..but I just decided to tell a few of my closest friends such as you and you  !Watch out! #dontKnowWhatWePlanning”

Femi Kuti later this year will perform at Latitude Festival, an annual music festival in Suffolk, south east England.

This year's Latitude Festival takes place from Thursday, July 16 until Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Henham Park in Southwold, Suffolk.

Femi, will join the likes of Portishead, alt-J and Noel Gallagher‘s High Flying Birds, named as the headline acts for the festival.‎
