Ex-Mo'Hits crew unite again

The trio gave a thrilling performance at the birthday celebration of Lagos royalty, Prince Aremo Oniru, who turned 50 in style.

Former Mohits crew, Don Jazzy, D’banj and Wande Coal gave Nigeria a glimpse of what might have been as they united for a performance of the song, ‘Pere’.

In the video below the trio took to the stage and thrilled guests, throwing many into a frenzy.

D’banj and Don Jazzy founded the Mo’Hits Records in 2006 after moving back to Nigeria from London. They went ahead to dominate the Nigerian entertainment scene until 2010, when irreconcilable differences split the team.

D’banj has moved on to begin his music imprint, DB Records, with Don Jazzy recreating his initial success by scaling Mavin Records.

Wande Cola split from Don Jazzy's Mavin Records in 2013, also founding his imprint, Black Diamond Entertainment.

The performance holds special meaning due to the events of the past months which has seen D'banj divulge new shocking details of their breakup, indicting Don Jazzy and Dr Sid, as the chief players in the crumbling of the Mo'Hits group.
