Davido’s songs usually come across as a ‘whirlwind running through a concert’. He takes his wild rambunctious disposition, channels it to melodic positivity, and the result always comes across as pure class.

This album of Davido’s isn’t being produced as an international album, but in its application, it has become one.

His song ‘Tchelete’ with Mafikizolo, marked a huge crossover point in his career. It blazed through charts, and shows the singer’s versatility. The upcoming album is also expected to contain US stars, Meek Mill and Rick Ross.

Davido’s ability to traverse an array of genres is a proven fact. Also proven is the quality of his delivery on them all. On this second album, we expect to see a number of new influences and sounds thrown in for fans delight. If anything, to display his growth as an artiste, and capture his current creative position.

Check out his current singles off the album, and you will find proof of these. The hit song, ‘Aye’ is a folk delivery that went commercial upon its release. ‘Skelewu’, ‘Gobe’, ‘Owo ni koko’, are all songs with a number of fusions.

Think of Davido, and the name Shizzi comes to your mind. This is because they both form a winning partnership. Davido places his vocals on the recording, Shizzi laces it with the sounds, and the song becomes a hit.

But over time, Davido has broadened his production preference, and has shown a level of variety. Currently topping the charts right now is ‘Owo ni koko’, a production by J Fem. ‘Aye’ is a creation of TSpize.
