Zombie show falls to its lowest ratings ever

Over the weeks since "The Walking Dead" returned, over 6 million people have fallen out of regular viewing.

Five episodes gone, the show has experienced a decline in its viewership as over 6 million people have fallen out of regular viewing.

While the zombie drama is still strong, it recently brought in its lowest ratings since its third season. Sunday's episode 5 which is titled "Go-Getters," brought in a total of 11 million viewers.

The above-mentioned is the smallest audience the Zombie show has recorded since its season 3's penultimate episode "Sorrowful Life, which brought in 10.99 million viewers.

"TWD" pulled off its most violent episode yet in season 7 premiere"The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be," killing off Steven Yeun (Glenn Rhee) and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham Ford).

The Parents Television Council had undefinedat the televised gruesome death of Glenn Rhee and Abraham Ford on the episode.

The show's seventh season will comprise of 16 episodes and will air in two parts, with the first eight episodes  premiering October 23, and the final eight returning February 2017.

On October 23, 2016, AMC renewed the show for its eighth season, which will premiere in late 2017 and will kick off with the 100th episode of the series.
