Jeffrey Dean Morgan promoted to series regular on show

Jeffrey Dean Morgan who was last seen as Negan in "The Walking Dead" season six finale, has been promoted to a regular on show.

His character Negan is a violent leader of a group known as the Saviors, that uses force and intimidation to subjugate other communities — including Alexandria.

The season six finale of "The Walking Dead" which offered viewers their first look atNeganand his infamous Lucille, ended with the character playing a game to decide who would be the first to meet Lucille.

As he made his decision, the camera angle switched to the position of his victim, leaving viewers to wonder who was on the receiving end as the scene faded out.

The season ended without revealing the identity of Negan's victim, leaving fans angry, shocked and disappointed.
