Veteran actress, Taiwo Ajayi Lycett speaks on reasons behind Nollywood's stagnant growth and why young girls bleach during her visit to Pulse.ng

Guess who was at the Pulse.ng studio? The inspiring, entertaining, energetic and ever pretty veteran actress, Taiwo-Ajayi Lycett. The actress' visit generated huge excitement among the staff of Pulse.ng.

The 73-year-old acclaimed international actress was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on 3 February 1941, she has featured in international works like Conor Cruise O’Brien’s Murderous Angels, Sidney Poitier's ‘A warm December' and several other soaps. Taiwo Ajayi-Lycett is also a part of Beverly Naya's 'Fifty Shades of Black' project.

She was honoured with an OON (Officer of the Order of the Niger) in the 2006 by President Olusegun Obasanjo, since her return to Nigeria in 1976, Taiwo has appeared in several notable TV and stage production like M-Net’s TV series 'Tinsel', stage drama 'Hear Word', and Tunde Kelani's 'Dazzling Mirage' amongst others.
