In his exclusive interview with Pulse TV, Melvin Oduah spoke about the segregation that happened in Big Brother: The Chase.

According to him, the 2013 BBA witnessed a segregation between the East African contestants and the West African contestants. "We didn't know it had gotten that bad that some of the housemates were trying to divide the house, the whole regional thingy, the East Africans, the West Africans..." said the actor.

Melvin said it was shocking to know that the East African contestants were saying bad things about him and other West African contestants in the house.

"We started hearing that they didn't like the West Africans, Nigerians in particular. And there were some housemates- I don't want to mention names specifically- engineering this whole thing. It was quite shocking because we are in this house, we are eating, we are dining with this people but we didn't know that at our backs they are like crossing and putting us in trash cans and all that. So I felt this is bad because it was always there you know" he told Pulse TV.
