Tyler Perry Is Out With A New One "The Single Moms Club"

Cast is full of praise for the top black Hollywood film maker

Tyler Perry is getting ready to release his latest film The Single Moms Club this March and all seem good as the cast have nothing but praises for the top black Hollywood movie man.

In a recent interview with Hip Hollywood last week, one of the actresses in the film, Nia Long narrated how she was being called by the famed director while on set of a series, "House Of Lies" but who says no to Tyler?

"Tyler called and said I need you and I was doing this show. I was doing "House of Lies" and I said, 'Gosh, I don’t know how I’m going to make this possible.' He said, 'We’ll work it out.' And if you’ve ever worked with Tyler Perry, it’s the most well oiled machine, you’ve ever seen operate. You get there, you’re treated like a queen, you have fresh flowers in your trailer every day. It is the most unbelievable thing ever. Everybody is on point”

Tyler also got her biological son on board to act her son in the film

[When Tyler called me I asked him] "Who’s playing my son in the film?’ He said, 'I don’t know, we’ll probably get a kid local in Atlanta.’ I said, ‘Well, you know my son is the same age as the character.' He said, 'Really? I didn’t realize that.’ I said, ‘Well, can he audition for you?' He said, 'If you think he can do it, it's fine.’ I said, 'No, no, no, no. I’m not going to be looking like a fool if I get him there and he’s terrible. Let's make him audition."

"I knew in my heart he could do it, but I wanted him to go through the process of earning something and also to understand what I do and how we really have to work hard to get what we have." She added.

TYLER PERRY'S THE SINGLE MOMS CLUB says it all – the lives of single mothers and how they deal with motherhood. When five struggling single moms put aside their differences to form a support group, they find inspiration and laughter in their new sisterhood, and help each other overcome the obstacles that stand in their way. The film was shot in 17 days and is written, produced and directed by Tyler Perry and produced by Tyler Perry Studios and Lionsgate Production.
