"Creed" actor joins Marvel's Black Panther movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael B. Jordan has joined a Black Panther cast that includes Chadwick Boseman in the title role.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, there’s no word regarding his character in the upcoming movie, but there are reports that he could play a villain.

Recently, it was reported that Lupita Nyong'o is in the talks to join the Black Panther movie as T’Challa’s love interest in the film.

The actress is likely to be one of the Dora Milaje - the elite squad of female soldiers who guard the king of Wakanda.

To be helmed by "Creed" director, Ryan Coogler, production on the movie is set to commence in 2017, with a February 16, 2018 release date.

Jordan made his superhero-movie debut in 2015 as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in Fox’s Marvel film "Fantastic Four."
