Actors join 'X-Files' revival

Laureen Ambrose and Robbie Amell are the latest addition to the cast of FOX upcoming six-episode return of 'The X-Files.'


According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lauren Ambrose and 'The Flash' actor, Robbie Amell, will guest star in the upcoming Fox' revival series

The duo will join the show's fourth episode as FBI Agents Einstein and Miller, respectively.

Ambrose and Amell are joining an already confirmed cast of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, reprising their roles as FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

The X-Files' originally premiered in September 1993 and remains one of the longest-running sci-fi series in network television history.

The 16 Emmy and five Golden Globes award winning movie revolves around FBI special agents Scully and Mulder as they investigate unexplained cases.
