The Nollywood actor gained international recognition following his role in the movie “Black November” directed by Jeta Amata.

From Nollywood to Hollywood, this was Nwigwe’s first appearance in an action packed movie starring an international and Nigerian cast made up of Akon, Wyclef Jean, Mickey Rourke, Vivica A. Fox, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Kim Bassinger, Anne Heche, Sarah Wayne, Mbong Amata, Ibrahim Abba-Gana, Fred Amata, and Zack Amata.

"Black November" was inspired by a true story. The story set in Los Angeles in the United States and in Nigeria is about the Niger Delta and the exploitation of the people.

This film directed by directed by Juliet Asante features the actor alongside Ghanaian actress Joselyn Dumas as well as other cast members from South Africa, Kenya, and Sierra Leone.

Here's a breakdown of the film: Class struggle can only have one winner. In this gripping love story, Ajoa, a ‘Kayayo’ street girl from Accra, meets Bruce, the rich heir of the Timothy fortunes. Their friendship sets into motion a class war, as Ajoa struggles to cross the class divide and find love, Bruce struggles to find himself.

"Thy Will Be Done"

The actor features in "Thy Will be Done" alongside Ramsey Nouah, Mary Njoku,Mercy Johnson, and Jide Kosoko.

The film is about a pastor whose life is turned upside done when the wife he buried seven years ago come back to life. The once happily married man is forced to choose between his current wife or his old wife.

The film directed by Niyi Towolawi once again sees the actor working with a Hollywood cast including Ernie Hudson, Joe Estevez, Cynda Williams, K.D. Aubert, Todd Bridges. And a Nollywood cast including Patience Ozokwor, Oge Okoye and Ebbe Bassey.

A Nigerian-American playboy deals with the consequences after abandoning his American sweetheart for an arranged wife from back home.

The University of Calabar alumnus plays a role in The Audrey Silva Company's upcoming film 'Surulere'. The movie also stars Seun Ajayi, Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju, Beverly Naya and Rita Dominic.

The film set in Lagos follows the life of a young, timid graduate Arinze desperate to beat his financial burdens. In his journey, he meets a charming go getter Omosigho. Their meeting shoots off a series of events that pressure Arinze into a get rich quick scheme.
