In this exclusive interview with Pulse Nigeria, Dakore Akande spoke on going into film directing or screenwriting .

Which would you love to have Nollywood actress Dakore Akande do; Screenwriting or Directing?

The actress who is popular for movies like "Games Men Play," "Journey to Self," "Emotional Crack," "Caught in the Middle," "Lunchtime Heroes," among others, was recently a guest at Pulse TV.

During her interview with Pulse, the actress spoke going into film directing in the future. She also spoke on the kind of films she's drawn to.

"Definitely. I would actually love to direct, that's where I'm headed in my mind right now. I have been on a lot of set throughout my almost 20-year career, so, that's where I feel that I may actually be able to bring some value.

But of course I'm not just gonna call myself a director, I'm gonna have to go to directing school, and really know what it's all about," she said.

On what she looks out for in a film, the actress who described film as a very sensory type of activity, said she likes films that are kind of "dramatic with element of thrill. She revealed that she is also drawn to Psychological dramas.
