1. Daring Fashion

We don't want normal and casual. We look forward to seeing classy and risky. That sort of fashion that would leave people talking for months.

We need the terribly risky ones to entertain us, and the classy ones to leave us swooning.

2. New Acts celebrated

How we would love to hear new names announced as winners in the majorcategories. But then, we can only wish. At the end of the day, the best man who could gather enough votes, takes the prize.

3. Better stage performances

Throwback to 2015 when the Mavins delivered one of the most disturbing and unorganised performances ever. It's 2016 and we would love to see a better, well rehearsed performance.

4. "Dry" emerging the biggest winner

Just because we totally loved everything about "Dry," and considering that it has the most nominations for the year, we would love to see it win the Best Overall Movie, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress and Best Movie – West Africa.

5. A rendition of a Nigerian song

Just because we are not over the Shoki rendition by OC Ukeje, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Gideon Okeke and Femi Jacobs at the 2015 AMVCAs, we won't mind another one to keep us till 2017.
