So last week something strange happened or rather I saw something strange. I was on my way home from work late in the night and I could see a woman in a jeep screaming at her husband who was driving. She was really screaming at him. Undoubtedly this caught my attention. The woman was really shouting at her husband. The poor man wasn’t replying. His eyes were firmly fixed on the road.

The poor woman noticing that her husband was ignoring her grabbed his neck with her two hands and was shaking him furiously. My eyes popped when I saw this. ‘Does this woman want to kill herself and her husband? What if he loses control of the car and they have a nasty accident?’ I asked myself.

Fortunately I did not get to see the end of the drama. The man increased his speed and zoomed off. Obviously the proper fight will happen at home that night.

Love is a strange drug. A lot of people love their spouses but cannot stand them at the same time. I have heard of couples who fight everyday but every year the wife keeps getting pregnant.

Estranged celebrity couple Toyin Aimakhu and Adeniyi Johnson should fall into this category. They bicker all the time but deep down I suspect they are still madly in love with each other.

We all know of their extensive history after they got separated. Lately their drama has re-ignited with accusations of poison and denials. Last week it was reported that Adeniyi Johnson had been making attempts to reconcile with his former wife. The actor however denied these claims.

To me, these two paint a picture of a couple who like fighting but cannot do without themselves. They separated over a year ago but hardly a month goes by without reading something about what one of them said.

Obviously love is still shacking these two. If they had no emotions for each other they would have moved on. Yeah you can say hate is what they feel but we all know hate is love in reverse. If hate is the prevailing emotion it can easily be switched to love.

Toyin Aimakhu and Adeniyi Johnson should just go for counselling and patch things up. They shouldn't allow a little bit of (alleged) poisoning and infidelity stop them from getting back. These words they are throwing at each other is just a desperate call for attention. They should kiss, make up, fight and have babies. Clearly these two are made for each other.
