Annie Idibia is probably most famous for being the wife of music giant, 2Face Idibia. For about 13 long years, we watched her and 2Face redefine "through thick and thin" with the highs and lows that characterised their relationship.

Eventually, love conquered all and today she strolls through red carpets with her arm firmly tucked beneath 2Face's. What's not to love about a woman who re-established our belief in the power of love?

Here's 5 more reasons why we love Annie Idibia:

  1. She births hot children: Let's face it, the woman has gorgeous children. Yes there's the fact that 2face has great genes but these things don't always add up (remember that hot former governor...ok moving on). Bottom line, Annie has bestowed the world with 2 gorgeous gals and we can't thank her enough for this.

  2. Girl next door: Annie may be married to one of Africa's biggest stars but she's still remained humble and down-to-earth, much like her husband. Now before you reel off 'of course she has no choice but to be humble', think of all the people who've gotten carried away by the fame and attention that comes with being a celebrity - or a celebrity's wife.

  3. Big heart: 2face has 5 children from previous relationships - that's an entire basketball team and Annie accommodates them all with equal measure. Even Mother Theresa would be impressed.

  4. Loyal friend: Anyone who follows Annie on social media will know that she's still BFFs with her friends from the days before Nigerian ladies knew about human weaves. Through celebrity-dom and relationship drama, she's remained friends with them.

  5. She's married to 2face Idibia: He's tall, dark, good-looking, worth multiple figures and is known through Africa and the world. 2face Idibia is a catch and Annie has him in her net. Need we say more?
