Artiste washes his hands from political endorsements

The 'Shake body' act is abstaining from supporting any politician during the upcoming general elections.

Hip-Hop artiste Skales has said he isn't campaigning for any political aspirant during the upcoming general elections.

The Baseline Music act said he won't be using his status as a celebrity to endorse any politican. He made this known on his Twitter page today, Monday, January 2, 2015.

"Am not supporting any party ...am not a big fan of Nigerian politics....in other words PERSON WEY I GO VOTE DEY MY MIND...#JeKanMo" he tweeted.

Several Nigerian artistes have pitched their tents with Nigerian politicians running for office in the general elections which will hold on Saturday, February 14, 2015.

Acts such as M.I, Ice Prince, Olamide, and Yemi Alade have composed campaign songs for Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the APC Gubernatorial aspirant for Lagos state.

Rapper Naeto C has been known to be a member of the PDP. He is supporting President Jonathan Goodluck.
