Yaw recollects memories of selling water as a child

"I sold at Yaba market then. My mum used to sell at Yaba market so I had to help her out in following her to the market to sell things" he said during the interview.

 

During an exclusive interview with OAP and comedian Yaw revealed to Pulse what it was like selling water and soft drinks in Yaba market when he was a small boy.

In the video clip below, Yaw revealed that he hold water back in the day when it was called ice water and sold for 1 Naira.

"I sold at Yaba market then. My mum used to sell at Yaba market so I had to help her out in following her to the market to sell things" he said during the interview.

On some Saturdays he would go alone when his mother could not make it. One day when bottles of soft drinks were stolen from him while he slept.

Yaw honestly revealed he was dealt with by his mother. "My mother is anointed with slaps" he jokingly said.

Despite his hard childhood, Yaw said he never felt like giving up on his dreams.
