Aren’t we all tired of Burna Boy?

Burna Boy has found himself in another bit of bad news again. At this point many of us are tired of his shenanigans.

“I would give you all the money in the world just to keep you smiling and happy. Better you than all those basic niggas!!!!! #happymothersday mama, you're responsible for the best of me” she wrote in the comment section of Burna Boy's Instagram page.

Later on she shared a photo of her pregnancy on her Instagram. Pulse reached out to Burna Boy’s representatives for a statement but they have not responded.

This pregnancy story is coming less than two weeks after a producer Orbeataccused Burna Boy for not paying him for his services. The list goes on from here of the artiste’s negative headlines.

I am not saying that the pregnancy story is true but Burna Boy needs to put a lid on the bad stories about him. If he can focus on his music and stay controversy free within the next months, it would be a miracle. Burna Boy is a lightning rod for controversy and it seems he is not ready to change that.

The troubling thing about Burna Boy’s situation is that his mother is his manager. Somehow she has not been able to curtail the excesses of her son. Normally momagers are able to control their client (child) but in Burna Boy’s case the opposite has been the same.

With the world’s attention on Nigerian music right now, Burna Boy should be at the forefront like Wizkid and Davido. Unfortunately his demons and troubles are holding him back.

It has come to the point that people are tired of Burna Boy’s problems. Yes he is still a talented singer but the controversies are starting to overshadow this.

Burna Boy needs an intervention, a time out for him to be sober and think things through. He needs a timeout. Anything short of this will get him further into trouble.

Four years ago Burna Boy was the new boy of the music industry and held a lot of promise. After leaving Aristokrat Records in puzzling circumstances his career has continued to flounder. Let’s not forget his sophomore effort was received with mixed reactions.

His recent endorsement by the NSE shouldn't be seen as progress. Burna Boy needs help before he fades away.
