With the attainment of success and fame, a lot of people forget who helped them climb the lamber or who supported them before their rise.

Singer Omawumi is one of such people. The mother of two has openly admitted that she has forgotten some of her friends who where there for her before fame and fortune.

She shared a picture of herself along with a caption saying she wants to change her ways.

"I have had a bit of time to reflect these past months waiting for belle to come down. I observed amongst other things I haven't been a good friend to most of my friends especially my old friends from 'before I blow'. I have not reached out to some people who out of love did their bit to nudge me in the right direction" she wrote.

"If I start to name name we go old here. Friends from my childhood, from demonstration, from Ekpoma, from Port Harcourt, from my idol days, on my journey as a musician, you wey put money or sweat for me. Please Forgive me, I will try to change my ways. Please feel free to reach out to me so we can repair the chain of communication. Thank you for your contribution o! Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for without you where would I be? #omawanderings #sundaythoughts" wrote Omawumi yesterday, June 7, 2015.

Good to see Omawumi making up for her mistakes.
