"Whitney Houston Asked Destiny's Child To Stay Together"

...So did Beyonce disobey the late legend by quitting the group in 2000?

Former Destiny's Child band member Michelle Williams opened up about an insane encounter the beloved girl group had with the late pop diva Whitney Houston.

According to Michelle, the late legendary singer gave them a solid advice back in the day while in a hotel in New York.

"She said, 'Y’all stay together, stick together, love each other.'"

During an exclusive interview with HuffPost Live, the "Say Yes" hit-maker revealed that the all-girl group once bumped into Whitney and her ex husband Bobby Brown in a hotel in New York and she took them by surprise when she began singing they hit song – 'Say My Name'

"Myself, Beyonce, and Kelly we were walking into our hotel Bobby Brown was in the hotel lobby, and he said ‘My wife loves you girls!'" Williams recalled. “She comes and starts singing 'Say My Name.'"

"We couldn’t believe that she was singing "Say My Name" and then she was encouraging us," Williams continued.

"I stayed normal because it’s nerve-wracking for me when someone sees me and they freak out," she explained. "So I don’t do that to other people. I went to my hotel room. I got the pillow, put it to my face, and just went into convulsions and screams of joy."

Well looks like Destiny's Child couldn't live up to Whitney's advice as the group split in 2000 to pursue their own solo careers.
