Rumours are building that estranged lovers, Lady Gaga and Chicago Fire actor, Taylor Kinney, are planning to reignite their old romance.

Both have been caught making comments that suggests that they are still quite smitten about each other.

According to a source who spoke to Us Magazine and confirmed that the pair have been interacting, “Taylor really hopes they’ll get back together.”

The source also hinted that Gaga has been quite bothered about her current separation from the actor, and has not lost hope that they could be a couple again.

“There is absolutely still a chance they can get back together,”

“She still feels terrible and hopes it can work out”, the source added.

Lady Gaga also added proof of this in an Instagram comment she posted on July 20, 2016.

She wrote, "Taylor and I have always believed we are soul mates,"

"Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break."

"We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared."

“Please root us on. We're just like everybody else, and we really love each other.”

According to Us Magazine, both put an end to their 17-month engagement in July 2016, citing distance and conflicting work schedules.

Their families are however not happy about the separation and are reported to be making moves that will aid a reconciliation.
