Star says Madonna inspired her new platinum blonde look

She told People Magazine, "I’ve been waiting a long time to try the look. I thought what better time than right now for Paris Fashion Week?"

Kim Kardashian has revealed pop diva Madonna was the sole reason she ditched her dark hair for a shocking platinum blonde locks, debuted last week.

In an interview with People Magazine, the 34-year-old explained:

"I’ve always had this image of Madonna with platinum hair in my references folder on my computer and I’ve been waiting a long time to try the look. I thought what better time than right now for Paris Fashion Week?”

She then added: "It was a really last minute decision.”

The thing is, Kim speaks of Madonna same time reports claim the pop queen is working with Kanye West (Kim's husband) on his forthcoming album.

Madonna told Daily News last week, "Kanye is the new Madonna... Kanye is the black Madonna."She then went on to explain why she and Kanye are similar, "I always feel like I'm breaking some taboo, or coming up against something,' she continued. 'People have always judged me, and given me s*** about one thing or another.”
