Comedian says God gave him a second chance

Talking about his past health issues, Julius Agwu said God wanted to prove a point to him.

Julius Agwu who is bouncing back from his brain surgery months ago in America has said that he went through his ordeal because God wanted to give him a second chance.

Speaking to Hip TV, he said God wanted to prove a point to him. “Well, the surgery God used it to prove a point. I’m living testimony of the fact that God really works. I mean it’s not everybody that gets this privilege; I mean this privilege of a second chance, which is also the title of my new single. The video will soon be out” he said.

In the interview, Julius Agwu revealed that before his second chance with God, his business endeavours were failing.

“I didn’t know what was happening. It was like I was hovering. I try this one e no dey work. I open studio, well equipped audio studio, people stopped coming there. I had a rehearsal studio where Tiwa Savage used to come to, Wizkid, (whistles) they all left.

“My book that was unveiled on my 40 birthday two years ago stopped selling. Everything, even my shows, I will do shows and…so there is a spiritual cleansing. There is something wrong with all the venues where we do shows. The devil wanted to steal this, but you know as the saying goes ‘God used the wickedness of the world to bring us to our turning point” said Julius Agwu.

Ibiere Agwu recently spoke for the first time about her husband's ordeal. “I feel happy because compared to how he was before, and what it is now…I mean I feel really happy and I thank God” she told E Rave.

Recounting the ugly experience she said “It was scary. I don’t think that’s anything anybody should experience. I don’t even wish that on my enemy. It was scary but I mean we had to what we had to do.”
