Nollywood actress, Joke Silva has visited the Sultan of Sokoto with a message of peace on Friday, March 13, 2015.

Silva, a council member of the Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development, visited the Sultan in company of Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, the Project Cordinator & Founder of Savanah Center on a peaceful election and post elections campaign.

The immensely talented actress was reported to have been well received by the Sultan of Sokoto and his chiefs in his palatial palace.

A recipient of the national honour, MON, Silva is a Nigerian actress, who had consistently contributed her quota to the growth and peace of Nigeria, where she holds sway as one of the veteran actresses.
