The famous couple paid for New York's Kimchi Taco truck and Milk mac & cheese truck to feed people at the city's Lincoln Square on Sunday where demonstrators laid down for free, reports DailyMail.
Revealing their grand gesture on Twitter, the Sports Illustrated model wrote in response to a thank you from @kimchitruck:
'@KimchiTruck @johnlegend wish we could be there!! thank you for being a part of it!'

The couple hasn't said much about their generosity since, but sources say both donated the food along with online activist group #OperationHelpOrHush.
Legend has however commented on the controversy surrounding 18-year-old Michael Brown's shooting before and has written a song along with rapper Common for the upcoming film that takes place during the Civil Rights movement in Alabama titled “Selma”
