Was TV Star Murdered Or Not?

Reports say daughter Melissa Rivers is forced to sue the hospital where her mother died.

Daughter to late comedienne Joan Rivers is reportedly forced to sue the hospital responsible for the sudden death of her super star mom early this month.

Reports say Melissa Rivers - who recently inherited her mother's $150m fortune - is planning to take both the medical centre where her mom died and the doctors to court inorder to finally know exactly what happened during that tragic surgery.

TMZ reports that sources close to the River's family say after the New York Dept. of Health and Human Services came out with its findings that Yorkville Endoscopy LLC was "deficient" in surgical services and medical staff, Melissa tried to find out the root of the problems and if they caused her mom's death, but she was shut down.

There is no doubt that the facility and the Dept. of Health know exactly why Joan died but for Melissa to know, a courtroom is inevitable.

Another insider told the site that the younger Rivers got advice from her legal team to file a lawsuit, which entitles her to force doctors and facility staff to sit for sworn depositions and answer questions about what happened the day Joan stopped breathing.

It's still not clear when Melissa will sue but we'll keep you all posted.
