He further allayed fears that Jay Rock was in a coma or near death with a second tweet. "Jayrock is not in a coma or near death...a lot of broken bones..."

Kendrick Lamar who took home 5 Grammys hasn't responded to Jay Rock's condition.
Jay Rock whose real name is Johnny Reed McKinzie, Jr. joined TDE in 2005. He released his debut album '' in 2011. He featured on Kendrick Lamar's track 'Money Trees' off his classic '' album in 2012.
Jay Rock released his second album '' in 2015.
