Showbiz entrepreneur reacts to fuel scarcity as radio stations shutdown

Popular showbiz entrepreneur, Funke Kuti has reacted to the early closure of two top radio stations over fuel scarcity.

Taking to her social media accounts, Twitter and Instagram, the ex-wife of Afrobeat star, Femi Kuti prayed to God for divine intervention as the scarcity of fuel has become worrisome to citizenry at large.

In her words, "God Help us. This is the first time in all my life that I have heard that radio stations are shutting down because of petrol scarcity, I truly understand though because I'm feeling the pain as well. Shame won't let me even post how much I had to buy diesel and petrol."

Continuing, the FK Management boss wrote, 'But I have reached my breaking point. I can't continue to pay this ridiculous amount. On top of that I haven't had light (up Nepa) in God knows how long. I have decided to stay without light for now and pray I get some cool breeze. Am I the only one feeling this pain? Lord Almighty take the wheel. Seriously though can someone please explain what's going on?? Ko easy o!

'My heart bleeds and I'm not very happy. Please my darlings let's pray together for our country. Take just 5mins of your time tonight and let's say this prayer together. We are facing difficult times o Lord. Almighty God we come to honour you tonight because we acknowledge that you are the one that can lead and guide our country.

'We ask that you bless our country and our leaders with wisdom ,your love and your compassion. Lord lift up our prayers for our leaders. We ask for blessings on our past leaders and our leaders about to be inaugurated. May these servants (no pun intended) who you have placed in these positions of authority take their responsibilities seriously and do their very best for our country,'  she wrote.

Rounding off, the bossom friend of Kate Henshaw and manager to Weird MC wrote, 'May they realise and understand all our needs. May they hear your voice as they make their decisions and May they follow your guidance. We pray they have a passion for people, the masses truth and righteousness. Bless our Nation and we pray you give the incoming president wisdom beyond his own understanding. The courage to choose the right path no matter how narrow the gate. Have mercy on our Nation. Lord hear our prayers. Can I get a a very big AMEN? It is well with us. Amen Amen.'
