Musician says Jonathan is the best that has ever happened to Nigeria

The Oko Ashewo singer also noted that he was pro-Jonathan before the election but plans to support the new government as long as the president and the newly elected public officers keep their promise.

Controversial rap act, Eedris Abdulkareem has opened up on his support for the outgoing president of Nigeria saying he's the best thing that has ever happened to Nigeria.

The Kennis Music recording artist was a guest of popular TV show on Hip on TV, Trending and while fielding question from the host, the singer claimed ex-president was responsible for the bad image president Jonathan suffered.

"Jonathan is the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria, that Nigerians shouldn't mind 'Baba' (Obasanjo) he was the one who put up the master plan to make Jonathan look bad and make people want to get rid of his government," he said.

The singer also noted that he was pro-Jonathan before the election but plans to support the new government as long as the president and the newly elected public officers keep their promise.
