Singer hopes for engagement ring on Valentine's Day

Demi Lovato is not hiding her feelings when it comes to what she wishes for this Valentine's Day -- "an engagement ring for starters!"

In a new interview with Ellen Degeneres , the singer whose being dating boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, 36 for nearly five years, admitted she would love to get a proposal soon.

"I don’t see a ring," says the singer to Ellen after she brought up the rumors if she was engaged. "I wouldn’t mind if I saw one, but there’s time for everything. We’ve been together this long, and obviously I’m not going anywhere and vice versa.”

When Ellen put up a picture Demi shared on Instagramof Wilmer on her big screen, the former Disney star couldn’t help herself gush about her boyfriend looks. "Look at how handsome he is! He’s so handsome,” says Demi.

Surprisingly, the singer also shared that their relationship actually didn’t start out smoothly in beginning! “I met him six years ago, and we were friends at first. I was head over heels, and he was like, ‘Uhh, stay away until you’re old enough,” says the singer. “And so we’ve been on and off for about five, five-and-a-half years.”

Demi and Wilmer might be one of Hollywood’s most adorable couples! But should they get engaged this Valentine's Day?
