Deez Nuts wants to be the next President of the United States and he's become the newest and hottest candidate in the 2016 Presidential election.

According to reports, Deez Nuts entered the political stage on Aug. 19, when a Public Policy Poll revealed that Deez had a 6% favorability rating with North Carolina voters. Deez had similar numbers in both Minnesota and Iowa. In fact, 9% of North Carolina voters said they would vote for Deez instead of Clinton or Trump if those were the only three options.

Despite his current political rise, Deez Nuts might not be appearing at any presidential debate because he’s not real. Deez is the creation of Brady Olson, a 15-year-old boy from Iowa, reports the Daily Beast.

Brady filed the appropriate Federal Election Commission form to start Candidate Nuts’s 2016 Campaign on July 26.

“When I heard about the Limberbutt McCubbins story, I realized I could,” Brady said. Candidate McCubbins, by the way, is a cat from Louisville, Kentucky, who’s running for the “demo-cat” nomination, reports.

Brady starting Deez’s campaign was “half trying to break the two party system” and “half [expressing] frustration with the front runners,” according to his interview with RollingStone.
